Privacy Policy

Effective: August 17, 2026  ·  Last updated: August 18, 2026
This policy applies to marklynn.com and is issued by Lynn White & Associates, Inc., doing business as Mark Lynn Design.

We are a small residential design office in Nashville. We have kept this policy short and in plain English, because most of what happens on this website is simple: you read about our work, and if something fits, you email or call us.

1. Who we are

This website is owned and operated by Lynn White & Associates, Inc., a Tennessee corporation doing business as Mark Lynn Design and Mark Lynn Interiors. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean that company.

  • Design Studio · 6965 Sunnywood Dr, Nashville, TN 37211-8566
  • Interiors Studio · 1030 16th Ave S, Suite 200, Ampersand Studios, Nashville, TN 37212
  • Both studios are by appointment.
  • Telephone · (615) 719-7078
  • Email · info@marklynn.com

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers information collected through this website and information you send us directly as part of an inquiry or a project. It does not cover websites we link to, or the separate privacy practices of builders, vendors, photographers, or other independent parties you may work with on your project.

3. Information you give us

The inquiry form and email link on our contact page

Our contact page has a short inquiry form. When you press send, what you entered — your name, your contact details, and your message — is delivered to GoHighLevel (which operates the form under the name LeadConnector), a customer-relationship service that receives and stores inquiries on our behalf and notifies us so we can respond. GoHighLevel processes that information as our service provider and under its own terms; you can read more in GoHighLevel’s privacy policy.

If you would rather not use a form, the email address on that page — info@marklynn.com — is a plain link. Clicking it opens a new message in your own email program, addressed to us, that you write and send yourself, from your own account. What we receive is an ordinary email, and it lives in our email account the same way any other message from you would.

Email, telephone, and meetings

When you contact us, or once we begin working together, you may give us information such as your name, email address, telephone number, property address, survey and plat documents, existing plans, photographs, budget range, correspondence with your builder, and your preferences and requirements for the project. We collect that information because you chose to send it to us so that we can help you.

4. Information collected automatically

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics product, on every page of this site. Clarity helps us understand which pages people actually read and where the site is confusing. It records information such as:

  • The pages you view, the order you view them in, and how long you stay
  • The site or search that referred you to us
  • Your device type, screen size, browser, and operating system
  • Your IP address, from which an approximate city or region is derived
  • Clicks, taps, scrolling, and mouse movement, which are assembled into session recordings and heatmaps

Clarity is configured to mask text typed into form fields by default, and we do not use it to read what you type. Microsoft processes this data as our service provider and under its own terms. You can read more at Microsoft’s privacy statement.

The Meta Pixel

We advertise on Meta’s platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and we use the Meta Pixel on every page of this site to learn whether that advertising works. The pixel records that a page was viewed and how you arrived at it, and Meta receives information such as your IP address, browser information, and the pages you visit here. If you have a Meta account, Meta may connect that activity to it and use it under its own terms, including for its own advertising purposes. You can read more in Meta’s privacy policy, adjust what Meta does with it in your Meta ad preferences, and limit it with your browser’s cookie controls.

Cookies and similar technologies

Clarity sets cookies and uses browser storage to recognise a returning visitor and stitch a session together. The Meta Pixel may set and read cookies for the advertising measurement described above. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses, timestamps, and the files requested, for security and troubleshooting.

Beyond Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel, we do not run other advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or social media trackers on this site.

Fonts

The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request. We do not receive anything from Google in return, and no Google analytics or advertising product is installed on this site.

5. What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information. The only advertising-related sharing on this site is the Meta Pixel measurement described in section 4.
  • We do not rent, trade, or hand over our inquiry list to marketing companies.
  • We do not have user accounts, logins, or passwords on this site.
  • We do not take payments through this website.
  • This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

6. How we use information

  • To answer your question and decide, together, whether we are the right office for your project
  • To prepare proposals, agreements, drawings, specifications, and selections
  • To carry out the design services you have engaged us for, and to coordinate with the people building or supplying the project
  • To keep ordinary business, accounting, and project records
  • To understand how this website is used and improve it
  • To meet legal, regulatory, insurance, and professional obligations

7. When we share information

We share your information only in these situations:

  • Service providers. The companies that host this website, deliver our email, and provide analytics, acting on our behalf.
  • Your project team. If you engage us, we share what is necessary with the people the project requires — your builder, surveyor, structural engineer, subcontractors, suppliers, and similar parties. We share the project information they need to do their part, not your correspondence with us generally.
  • Photography. We photograph completed work and may publish it. We do this by agreement with you, and we do not publish a client’s name or street address with project photographs without permission.
  • Professional advisers. Our accountants, insurers, and attorneys, where relevant.
  • Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or court order, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
  • A change in the business. If the firm is sold, merged, or reorganised, records may transfer to the successor as part of that transaction.

8. How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not become projects are kept as ordinary email correspondence and are deleted or archived in the normal course of business. Project records — drawings, specifications, agreements, correspondence, and photographs — are kept for the life of the project and afterwards for as long as we need them for professional, insurance, tax, and legal reasons. Analytics data is retained according to Microsoft Clarity’s own retention schedule.

9. Your choices

Turning off analytics

You can block Clarity by using a browser that blocks trackers, by installing a content blocker, or by clearing and blocking cookies for this site. The site works normally either way. Some browsers also send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal; where we receive a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of analytics.

Access, correction, and deletion

Write to info@marklynn.com and ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do our best to honour reasonable requests whether or not a particular statute requires us to, and we will tell you plainly if we have to keep something — for example, a signed agreement or a set of record drawings we are obliged to retain.

We will not treat you differently, or refuse to work with you, because you exercised a privacy right.

If you are a Tennessee resident, or live elsewhere

Privacy laws in Tennessee and in other states and countries give residents rights over their personal information, and those laws apply to different businesses depending on size and volume. Rather than work out whether a given law reaches a firm of our size, we would simply prefer you to ask. Email us and we will respond.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information in our care, but no website, email system, or filing method is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Ordinary email in particular is not an encrypted channel. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card account numbers, or copies of identity documents by email. If something sensitive needs to reach us, call us at (615) 719-7078 and we will arrange a better way.

11. Links to other sites

This site links to other websites and credits other companies, including photographers and builders. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually.

13. How to reach us

Questions about this policy, or about anything we hold, go to info@marklynn.com or (615) 719-7078. A person will read it.
